Hello runners and walkers!  We are excited to see everyone this coming Sunday, November 5th!  Please read through all this information so you know what is going on once you arrive.

Bib/T-shirt Pick-up:

You can pick up your items in the field house.  This is a small one story building with lots of windows and can be found right next to the manor house. You will also see the a tall American Flag by the field house.

Saturday pick up is 12 pm – 2 pm
Sunday before the race

Parking:

Please enter the parking area at the Goshen Library at 12505 Harmony Landing Rd.

5K

The 5K timed run will start promptly at 2 pm, please make sure to arrive in plenty of time to get parked, pick up your race packet and get checked in.  Losing your car keys back in the woods would be a real bummer so feel free to leave keys and phones in the field house with our volunteers until afterwards.

3K

The 3k walk starts at 2:30 pm, feel free to arrive early and cheer on our runners!

Terrain:

If runners want to wear spikes they may as there is no gravel or asphalt.  It is a cross country course, so no pavement here!

Route:

Click here to see the 5K route and click here to see the 3K route.  They are very similar except in one corner in the upper left on the map, the 5k loop is just a small amount longer.  Both events will make a large loop around the open field then head into the woods up by the playground.  Once you come out of the woods the 5K participants will then be directed back toward the playground where they will begin their second loop.  Once you come out of the woods for the second time you will head straight for the finish line.  We will have plenty of signs and course monitors to keep you on course so no one gets lost.

Walkers, if a runner is approaching behind you please just stay to the right to let them pass.

First aid and water will be located at the finish line.  If something happens to you back in the woods and you can not get out of the woods (twisted ankle or such) remain calm and move to the side.  We will have an all-terrain vehicle for emergencies.

Food Trucks:

Stick around after the race and enjoy music and food trucks!

Other Information:

After the 5K it may take us a bit to see results and hand out the custom Grant’s Giving Medals.  We will announce those winners as soon as possible.

PLEASE help us keep Creasey Mahan beautiful and do not litter.  If you see someone else has accidentally dropped trash, please do us a favor and pick it up.  We appreciate it!

If your dog is friendly and well-behaved they are welcome to attend the 3K on a leash.  PLEASE make sure you bring poop bags with you and clean up after your dog.  Also be mindful of the runners trying to pass you and keep your dog at your side while on the trails so the leash isn’t tripping people or slowing down the timed runners.
